Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano took first prize after he had bettered Maikel van der Vleuten’s time with nearly a second. Gaudiano, who lives in Germany (Frankfurt am Main) stopped the clock at 80.31 seconds with the eight-year-old mare Carlotta 232 (Chaccomo x Cento). Maikel van der Vleuten had to settle for second place with VDL Groep Quatro (Quaprice Boimargot Quincy x Caletto) in 81.17 seconds. Third place went to Ireland’s Bertram Allen and the 10-year-old Holsteiner mare EH Quick Nina (Quidam’s Rubin x Camiro).
