Anky van Grunsven is taking on the presidency of the board of the Indoor Brabant International Concours Hippique Foundation. After the tragic death of Gerrit Jan Swinkels on 25 May a highly valued and important inspirer was lost for Indoor Brabant. Over 40 years Gerrit Jan was involved in the growth and expansion of Indoor Brabant and since 2002 he acted as president. Gerrit Jan is still greatly missed.

Thursday evening it was the last who did best in the competition for approved stallions at Indoor Brabant. Zoï Snels crossed the finish line in 29.52 seconds with the BWP stallion I’m Special de Muze, The stallion is by Emerald and out of the Grand Prix mare Walnut de Muze, ridden by Harrie Smolders, jumped impressively in the first round and continue his good form in the jump-off. He combines speed with handiness.

‘Training round’, said Edward Gal about his performance with Glock’s Zonik in the international dressage competition. The pair was superior in the stallion class, Prix St. Georges, with 78.29 per cent. The only seven-year-old Danish son of KWPN stallion Blue Hors Zack looked like a raw diamond.

Indoor Brabant presents the best competitor field ever for its 2015 edition. No less than 24 of the top 30 of the World Rankings have entered for the competitions in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

New at the international top event Indoor Brabant will be the stallion day on Thursday 12 March. The best young approved jumping and dressage stallions from home and abroad will compete in three competitions each in different age categories.

The international top event Indoor Brabant, which will be held from 12 til 15 March 2015, will expand its programme extensively. The programme will have more variation and a second arena will be used.
