World Cup Grand Prix: 80% for Isabell Werth

Germany’s dressage queen Isabell Werth won the FEI World Cup Dressage Grand Prix this afternoon. She received a great score of 80% with her 11-year-old Westphalian gelding Emilio 107 (by Ehrenpreis). The pair had very high scores for their half passes, piaffe and passage. She received a 10 twice for the piaffe. Isabell was rightly very happy with her test. A good second was Holland’s Hans Peter Minderhoud with the 16-year-old stallion Glock’s Flirt (Florestan I x Gauguin de Lully). They scored 77.020% with real nice pirouettes and a good piaffe and passage tours. Third place went to Germany’s Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and the 17-year-old Hannoverian gelding D’Agostino FRH (by De Niro). Jessica, who is expecting her first baby in August, scored 75.500%.

Tomorrow the riders will return for the FEI World Cup Dressage Freestyle to Music at 14.30 hrs.
