Wim van der Leegte of VDL Groep could not have wished for a better winner in the VDL Groep Prize. VDL rider Leopold van Asten won the jump-off of this qualification for the Rolex Grand Prix in a spectacular way with his grey mare VDL Groep Beauty (by For Pleasure). Van Asten was the only of the nine clear riders to finish the course in less than 28 seconds. Last year’s Grand Prix winners Niels Bruynseels and Gancia de Muze (by Malito de Reve) finished runners-up followed by the striking Danielle Goldstein from Israel with Lizziemary (by Cabri d’Elle).
