Kevin Jochems best Indoor Derby

The Indoor Derby, the Van Schijndel Bouwgroep Prize, with obstacles up to 1.45m, was spectacular as every year. The victory went to the Dutchman Kevin Jochems with Cornetboy (Cornet's Stern x Colander). Well done by Jochems, because he rides this horse only three weeks. "I had to enter the arena as eighth starter and so I had not seen any other rider. That's often the best thing to do in the end, just stick to your own plan. I know by now that he can go very fast. I started quite calmly and then went faster and faster. This was our first 5* event together, so I am very satisfied.” The top three consisted of Dutch combinations. Jens van Grunsven finished second with the KWPN gelding Idextro (Dexter R x Indoctro) and Maikel van der Vleuten was third with Edgar (Warrant x Purioso).
